![]() As many of you know, my album and show Pendulum was released in Ball State University's Planetarium a year ago today. Since the release, both the show and album have regular plays on Bandcamp and YouTube, the song "Transit" has been used in a small promotional video, and the show returned to Ball State's Planetarium in January 2017 for another 4 performances - packed house all 4 times. Every time I listen to my album now, I'm still amazed by the writing because I wasn't just composing in the middle of the night - it was at work, in class, during meals, sometimes in my dreams. Every down moment I had was spent working on this project in some capacity. 80% of THAT time was listening to music and studying music theory. Ask my roommates, bandmates, friends, and family... they'll tell you this is no joke, and I thank them for dealing with me. SPEAKING OF THANK YOU'S... I'd like to thank musicians Alex Hoffman ("Singularity" and "Day One") and Kasia Wygocki ("Transit") for their awesome guitar skills. Thank you to Jared Sullivan for the incredible album artwork. Thank you to Dr. Willey for supporting this project and continually pushing me to do even more. AND last but certainly not least thank you to Dayna Thompson for collaborating and coding the most bad ass planetarium show. A year later I'm sitting in my room thinking of what's to come next in my musical world, and I have many ideas up my sleeves. Yes, I said sleeves. Right now I'm collaborating with another musician and writing some music on my own. I hope I can share some of it soon because I'm excited about everything I'm working on. Stream or download Pendulum on Bandcamp today. This is the last you'll hear of Pendulum for a while. Thank you for staying lit with me. Literally.
